Welcome to my sandbox. I could say welcome to my universe but that would be overstating things a little for a first up “hello world” blog! I call it a sandbox because its a bit of a testbed for playing around with spatial mapping ideas and concepts – and the concept “subject matter” just happens to be triathlon races. So armed with a Garmin GPS unit, a Google Earth account, some favourite triathlon, cycling and running races and various widgets & tools (all free of course)  I venture forth into the burgeoning blogosphere to join the masses and get my own 15 hits of fame….
